Year 12 Preparatory Camp

Our 2024 Year 12 students embarked on a three-day Melbourne preparatory camp at Queens College to kickstart their Year 12 journey. They engaged in a Q&A session with Kurnai graduates and participated in various educational activities, allowing them to gain insights into success strategies and diverse career pathways. Year 12 English Writing Competition

The English writing competition was open to all Year 12 students studying English, Literature, EAL, and English Language. It commenced on the last week of Term 3 and concluded the day before the English exam. Students were provided with a variety of essay topics and language analysis pieces to choose from. Essays couldn't be written during class time; instead, students had to submit one essay to the library by 8:30 am every day.

At the end of the competition, Jaz Sanders earned first place by writing 18 essays, while William Bonicci secured second place. For Jaz, the challenge of writing the essays was immensely helpful; it honed her time management skills and motivated her to prepare for the English exam.

Congratulations to both Jaz and William on their awesome efforts!
