Wellbeing News

Dear Families,

Wellbeing at Sacred Heart over the past few weeks has been all about preparing for our school concert. There have been so many social and interpersonal skills and learning dispositions explored, developed and strengthened by our students during this time.

Such as:

  • contributing and listening to ideas
  • persistence and patience
  • turn taking, cooperation and collaboration
  • Giving and receiving feedback
  • praising others and receiving compliments
  • working as a class and school team
  • self management and resilience
  • creativity and enthusiasm

It has been wonderful to see our students continue to gain and develop confidence during each practice; not only their concert acts, but also in themselves. Watching the students enjoyment of each other's acts and the encouragement shown towards others has been so great to see.

Take Care,

Kate Harris
