Year 7 & 8 in 2024 Parent Information Evening - 7pm, Tuesday 24 October

There will be an Information Evening on Tuesday 24 October for parents and guardians of students commencing Year 7 and 8 in 2024. The evening will run from 7.00pm until 8.30pm and will be held in The Farrall Centre, 395 Argyle Street, North Hobart.   This is a valuable opportunity for both current and new parents to learn more about our Year 7 & 8 programs and to meet key staff members and other parents. Presentations will include information about the curricular and co-curricular programs, our Quaker values and pastoral care. There will also be current Year 7 students sharing some of their experiences and plans for the next year.

High School Service Awards

Applications for High School Service Awards are now open and will close on Friday 3 November. Instructions and a copy of the Service Record/Award form, please go to the home page of Seqta Learn -> Awards.

 

To apply for an award;

  1. Record all service activities as you participate in them and have them verified with adult supervisors by sharing the Google Doc with them and politely emailing to ask them to verify your participation.
  2. Count up the total number of hours completed for both School based and Community based service and enter this on the Record.
  3. Label your Service Award (Record) Application with your Full Name, Year and Tutor Group and indicate which form of Award you are applying for from the choices at the top.
  4. Google Share the Google Doc with Karina Churchill by the due date for your section of the school. These are advertised via Seqta Student Notices and What’s On.

Old Scholars’ Memorial Grant for Year 11 Tuition 2024

Applications for the Old Scholars’ Memorial Grant are now open to current students continuing on to Year 11, who have an Old Scholar connection. There is one grant of $4,000 towards Year 11 fees for a student who is academically sound, an active participant in the life of the School and strong in service. Applications can be submitted online by 4pm Monday 13 November.
