A place of Welcome

St Aloysius College is a place of welcome where all people are valued, respected and nurtured within a Catholic community. We hope all the students experience this during their time at the College.

Our College Mantra that all our students hear at assemblies, in the classroom and around the school and particularly within their Religious Education classes is based on the 5 Lasallian Core Principles. These principles underpin what it means to be Lasallian. These principles are applied and lived out in all aspects of the College life.

Year 7

The first two weeks of year 7 have been working through the Big Steps Program in Religious Education. The students have focused on

  1. College crest
  2. Founder St John Baptist de La salle
  3. Patron, St Aloysius of Gonzaga
  4. Colour Houses  - Benilde, Chisholm, Mackillop and Miguel
  5. The College motto which was developed to reflect young people being ready to embark on all they undertake. Through the motto,  Je Suis Prest ‘I am ready’, it is hoped that the students will be ready for all challenges that they are presented with during their time at St Aloysius.

Lasallian Reflection Day

On Friday, 9 February the Year 7 students will engage in a Lasallian Reflection Day.  This will be a great opportunity for the students to continue to get to know each other and the College.

Reminder: Ash Wednesday, 14th February

Students are to meet in Monro Park at 9am. This is a combined parish Mass with the local primary schools.
