Welcome

In this edition of MY FUTURE Careers News, we are heading into our final term break of the year. Universities are providing opportunities for students and their parents to tour campuses and attend revision lectures in readiness for 2026. There are also opportunities for younger students to engage in programs on campus. Year 12 students have entered their preferences for University and TAFE courses and are now concentrating on their exam preparation period.

Applications for the Equity Program, formerly known as the Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS), close on Friday, 10 October at 5pm. Students are reminded to meet these deadlines. ATARs will be released on Thursday, 11 December at 7am. More information will follow next term.

Students in other year levels will shortly be receiving notifications of Subject Selections for 2026. This is an exciting time for students. Our senior years Orientation program will be upon us before too long. Students are encouraged to seek Career advice if they do decide to change subjects at this time. A reminder that I am available for all Careers questions each and every lunchtime.
