📚 Learning Zone – Term 3 Overview ✏️

This term in Literacy, students have been building on their reading, writing, and language skills through a variety of engaging activities. Guided and independent reading sessions have focused on developing comprehension strategies, vocabulary growth, and fluency. In writing, students have explored different text types, with an emphasis on planning, drafting, and editing their work to improve structure and expression. Spelling, grammar, and punctuation have also been integrated into daily practice to strengthen accuracy and confidence in written communication.

In Numeracy, students have continued to develop their understanding of number concepts, place value, and problem-solving strategies. We have worked on applying mathematical thinking to real-life situations, with a strong focus on addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Students have also explored measurement, geometry, and data, with hands-on tasks and investigations helping to deepen their understanding and application of key concepts.

Overall, Term 3 has been a rich learning journey where students have been encouraged to take risks in their learning, work collaboratively, and celebrate their progress in both literacy and numeracy.
