Gymnastics Workshops
As a component of their PE program, Kindy, Year 1 & Year 2 students have participated in an exciting gymnastics experience. During Weeks 8 and 9, the children have been developing their balance, coordination, and strength through a variety of fun and challenging activities. From forward rolls and balances to working on apparatus, the children have been growing in confidence and showing fantastic teamwork.
The sessions have not only helped improve physical skills but also encouraged resilience, focus, and determination. It has been wonderful to see the children encouraging one another, celebrating achievements, and persevering when faced with new challenges.
The highlight for many pupils was exploring different ways of moving across equipment, testing their creativity as well as their agility.
Well done, Kindy, Year 1 and Year 2 – we can’t wait to see how you continue to build on these skills in the future!
Year 2
To celebrate our school NAIDOC Day, Year 2 students used their author and illustrator skills to produce an Anaiwan Animal Booklet based on the popular children’s book, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? They also decorated a message stick using Aboriginal art symbols and proudly described their family and cultural connections.
