Year 2 Highlight

Our Year 2 students attended an incursion, exploring the concept of force, especially push and pull, through Billy Carts and Ezy- Rollers. The students worked collaboratively to create a vehicle out of various materials to gain an understanding of how simple machines contribute to an effective design. This included problem-solving skills by following a set of instructions to replicate a set design. They worked through a variety of skills, identifying and analysing the influence of friction and gravity. This learning supported our students with the skills required to build their own futuristic, sustainable transport.
