We are excited to support the following programs as we move swiftly towards Lent and Easter:

ROSIE'S:

Thank you to those who delivered blankets to the College. We are still collecting these for Rosie's Friends on the Street patrons. Please bring any clean, spare blankets to the front office of the College.  We are honoured that St Mary's forms two teams of volunteers coordinated by Ms McKenna and supported by Mr Van Dam and other staff.  Student volunteers need to be in Years 11 and 12 and can register their interest with Ms McKenna or myself on Friday or Sunday evenings.

This liturgy symbolises the beginning of our season of Lent - in preparation for Easter.  During this time of prayer, giving, and fasting, we raise money for Caritas - Project Compassion.

On Ash Wednesday and Fridays throughout Lent, the Tuckshop does not sell meat products.

You can find the Tuckshop Menu for Lent here:

Project Compassion

This year, Project Compassion's theme is Walk for Water.  We have our fundraising webpage to support staff and student participation in:

  • Walk 6km or
  • Walking 30 minutes every day

These walks symbolise the distances some people need to walk to get fresh water.
