Setting up for Success
The start of Year 11 can be overwhelming due to the increase in the quantity of content and the demands of Senior assessment. Students must set specific goals but they must develop effective systems and routines.
Screen Time
Research has shown that excessive screen time and use of social media and smartphones are linked to higher rates of anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues in teenagers. I would encourage all families to have an honest discussion about the amount of time spent on devices and the impact it has on well-being and academic performance.
