School Wide Positive Behaviour Supports - SWPBS

Each week Wedderburn College has a focus on expected behaviours from our matrix. The SWPBS team come together and look at data that is collected from chronicles reported by staff. We then collate a list of targeted expected behaviours to focus. Students displaying the behaviours are rewarded with either a green chronicle, burn buck or a gotcha card if the are consistently displaying a focus expected behaviour. 

Students are then able to bank their rewards and spend them at the Burn Bank on various goodies.

Below is the list of expected behaviours that are being focused on at the moment. Each expected behaviour is positively stated and align with our College values of Responsibility, Respect and Resilience.

I will follow directions of all staff. (Respect)

I will complete classwork and homework. (Responsibility)

I will keep my hands feet and objects to myself. (Respect)

I will use manners and kind words. (Respect)

I will be an active learner. (Responsibility)

I will be an upstander. (Responsibility)

Students are explicitly taught what expected behaviours look, sound and feel like to ensure success.
