It was a spectacular summer morning as we hopped on the bus with big grins knowing that today was our day to destroy the competition. Our team had amazing speed and determination; everyone had a blast and some of our swimmers made it through to the next round. By Massimo.

Emma, one of our teaching staff who supervised the team, reports that the students represented the school with impeccable behaviour, fantastic effort and a great attitude. We are waiting for results to be finalised, however we have some individual swimmers and a relay team or two progressing through to the next round.

7A recently had a look into States of Matter. We experimented with some cornflour and water to form Ooblec (sorry for the coloured hands that came home). In another lesson, we became particles and formed as either a solid, or a liquid, or a gas. All particles ensured they were moving with enough energy and maintaining the correct amount of attractive forces. Well Done.
