First Holy Communion
We have four students who are making their First Holy Communion this term.
Father Perry has met with families to explain the significance and importance of this wonderful Sacrament.
He reminded us:
“A Sacrament is not just a symbol. It does something! It conveys grace to the soul when you receive it. If you’re properly disposed (ready to receive it), the grace is guaranteed because the Church, established by Christ and given His authority, promises that.”
The Eucharist itself means “Thanksgiving” and is the source and summit of all Christian life. In the Eucharist, the sanctifying action of God and our worship of him reach their high point. Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity.
Please keep our students, Urban, Kyani, Indigo and Fred and their families, in your prayers as they prepare for this important sacrament, which will continue to nourish their faith.
