From our Parent Committee

News from the PC
It’s been a busy few weeks within the PC – we celebrated with both the Garage sale and (almost) Multicultural day. Neither of these events would be possible without the volunteers, event leads and those who come along to have a fun time.
A special thank you to Anne-Sophie, Garage sale event lead and to our volunteers – Stephanie, Alba, Mark, Jewel, Antoine, Dan, Maame, Kara, Otavio, Louis-Stephane, Amanada, Bec, Brune, Alejandra, Marnie, Sue, Sonia and all those that held a stall.
A big shout to out our Multicultural day event leads – Clarel, Max, Beatriz, Vanita and Leo – who look forward to bringing the event to the CJC community on another day soon.
The PC would like to wish everyone a safe and relaxing break and welcoming you back to a jam-packed term! We look forward to bringing you the Mother’s Day breakfast and stall on May 8th. If you are wanting to volunteer at the Mother’s Day stall, please go to - https://volunteersignup.org/DA3RF to sign up.
The Apparents, CJC’s very own parents band, will be performing on Thursday 4th June at the Prince Ballroom – get your tickets here: https://tickets.oztix.com.au/outlet/event/733b2074-f238-4910-b0ec-7562f777c1a5
And the CJC trivia night is back again on Saturday 13th June – start getting your teams of 10 ready! More details to follow next term.
Lastly, if you would like to know what’s happening in the PC, check out our new space in the front building next to the second-hand clothes donation box (and check out our new donation box while you’re there!!). This space has all things PC – contact details, QR codes for working with children check’s, upcoming events and PC meetings dates. If you want to be more involved, but not take on a role, the PC is always looking for those with great ideas to join our wider planning team. You can reach out via your class convenor or the PC email - caulfieldjuniorpc@gmail.com – to join.
