Camp Payments - Upcoming Due Dates

Just a friendly reminder that payment deadlines for our upcoming camps are approaching!

Year 3/4 Camp

• 📅 Camp Dates: Wednesday 19th – Friday 21st August
• 💰 Payment Due: Wednesday 5th August ⏰ Less than 2 weeks away!

Year 5/6 Camp

• 📅 Camp Dates: Wednesday 4th – Friday 6th November
• 💰 Payment Due: Wednesday 21st October

Please ensure fees are paid by the relevant deadline to secure your child's place. If you have any questions or need to discuss payment arrangements, please contact the office ahead of time.

OSH Club Feedback Opportunity

Compass Email Delivery Issue

We have been advised by Compass that they are currently experiencing a nationwide email delivery issue, particularly affecting email accounts hosted by Hotmail, Outlook, and Bigpond. As a result, some families may not be receiving emails or notifications sent through Compass.

Compass has confirmed that this is a known issue and their team is actively working to resolve it. At this stage, they are unable to provide an estimated timeframe for when the issue will be fixed.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience while Compass works to restore normal service. 

2027 Enrolments 

If you are intending on your child commencing Prep next year at South Melbourne Primary School, we are accepting Enrolment Applications! We request that submit an application as soon as possible so that we may begin planning for class numbers and staffing.  Please let Kirsty or Emma in the office know as soon as possible - even if you just verbally let us know now about a sibling planning on commencing Prep next year, this will help with our planning. Sibling Claim Enrolment that are Outside the Designated Neighbourhood Area

In the event that a Prep (Foundation) student has a sibling, who will be attending South Melbourne Primary School in 2027 and whose residential address is located outside the designated neighbourhood, then the Foundation Student can apply for enrolment at SMPS on sibling grounds

We will provide Parents / Carers with written notification of Prep 2027 enrolment outcomes as per the Department’s Placement Policy between Monday 3 August 2026 and Friday 14 August 2026.
