SUSHI
A huge thank you to everyone who helped bring our very first CNPS sushi stall to life! 🍣What started as an idea quickly became a reality thanks to your incredible time, energy, and teamwork.
From planning and pickups, to serving, tackling tricky pricing calculations, and deciphering ingredient lists — this stall was a success because of you.
Many thanks to Cath Doggett, Nick Reddaway, Chloe Hand, Sharon, Ruth Williams, Amelia Dunn, Liliane Dunn, Prim, Eliza McFarlane, and our wonderful fete facilitators. We couldn’t have done it without you!
Dan and Sara 💙👏
Clare London
Clare, how can we thank you enough! You took on the role of fete co-ordinator (from the hard act to follow that is Cath Doggett) in only your second year at our school, along with continuing as School Council Treasurer and juggling your full-time work and home life.
Your enthusiasm, warmth and next level organisational skills saw a mini-fete day full of joy; excited happy, kids having a fabulous day, and excellent camaraderie among all the adults, whether they were parents, staff or wider community members.
The resulting amount raised is testament to all who contributed, but especially to you as our co-ordinator, and you are so, so appreciated by our school.
With Tiggy in Year 1 and Oli starting next year, we know you’re here for the long haul and that you and Jane are strategizing already for future fundraising. We’re fortunate to have you.
Thank you!
Trish & the CNPS Team
All stuff inclusion
We are proud that Lee St, as far as we know, is the only local school with a dedicated strategy to make our fete accessible to everyone.
So big thanks all-round for embracing what we are trying to do together with our social stories, sensory map, chill out space, priority passes.
Thanks to:
- The school’s support group for being the best sounding board
- Ingrid for design and sensory map awesomeness
- Amna (foundation mum) for volunteering ALL DAY 😊 😊
- Jane Bilby and Indy for proofreading the social story
- Megan (Claude’s mum) and Cath Doggett (Viv’s mum) for general awesomeness and support
- The wonderful library staff from Bargoonga Nganjin, North Fitzroy Library who have helped us now for 4 years in a row since we started our inclusion focus at the Great Lee St Fete.
See you next year, gulp (too soon, I’m sorry). If you are keen to learn more or even help out with inclusion stuff at the fete, please let me or the office know.
Much love and all-abilities, Kylie (Jethro and Baxter’s mum)
More fete thankyous to come next term! x
