Book Fair
The Book Fair is coming to Rosanna Primary School! It will arrive on 6th August and be here until the 11th. Come by the Prep OLA at 3.40pm and support our school whilst getting your hands on the best new children’s books!
Book Week Dress-Up Day & Parade. We invite all students to dress up as their favourite book character on Tuesday 11th August for our annual Book Week Dress-Up Day. Our Book Parade will begin at 2:40 pm on the basketball courts (weather permitting), and families are warmly invited to attend. After the parade, why not visit the final day of our Book Fair in the Prep OLA and browse a fantastic selection of children's books while supporting our school.
Sports News
We are excited to kick off our Term 3 Interschool Sports program tomorrow with our first fixture against Macleod Primary School, which we are hosting at Rosanna Primary School.
The following teams will be in action:
- Hot Shots Tennis – Rosanna Primary School
- Soccer – Rosanna Primary School
Cricket Blast – Macleod Primary School does not have a cricket team this term, so our Cricket Blast team will remain at school for a training session.
All games will commence at 12:00 pm.
Soccer players are reminded to wear long red soccer socks. These can be purchased through the school, and order forms have already been distributed to all soccer players.
The Mighty Ducks Tennis Program for Grade 5/6 students who are not participating in an interschool sports team will begin next week. If you have not already done so, please return all permission forms and payments by early next week to ensure your child's participation.
Book Club - Issue 5
Magazines for Issue 5 of Book Club are coming home.
Every purchase from the Scholastic Book Club not only gives your child wonderful educational resources at home, but also contributes to the school Library collection which benefits all of the school children.
There are 4 ways to order:
1. By credit card using LOOP, where you complete the book order and pay online – nothing needs to be sent back to school
2. Credit card over the phone, you still need to complete an order form & return it to school with the 11-digit receipt number
3. Cash (correct money) in an envelope with the completed order form
4. Cheque (made payable to Scholastic Australia) with the completed order form
Orders are due back to school by Friday 31 July with delivery around one week later.

ICAS Registrations Close Monday 27 July.
Big Group Hug
Every child deserves to feel warm and comfortable. Unfortunately, many children in our community are living without the most basic necessities - warm clothing and bedding. This is where you come in!
We’re asking the RPS community to donate new and pre-loved winter clothing and bed linen for children aged 1-16 (sizes 3-16 most needed) for distribution to the families Big Group Hug supports in the cold winter months, and year-round.
Donations can be dropped off at the office.
