Students & Learning

Classroom Learning with 2A
Last Friday grade 1 and 2 attended an excursion to CERES Community Environment Park.
Through out the day, students rotated through different activities including, Exploring Wetlands, Caring for Country and Water Cycles and Solutions.
Through hands-on activities around CERES park, students investigated how plants and animals work together to create healthy ecosystems and identified the needs of different animals and their habitats. Through observations and connecting with Country, students gained an understanding of the future steps necessary to maintain a healthy habitat and ecosystem in their local area.
