Numeracy News

Dear Parents,

On Monday 4th November, teachers from Years 5 and 6 attended professional learning at St Raphael's Hurstville. Teachers engaged with the 'Cognitive Load Theory (CLT)' in particular focusing on how they can apply the CLT within their teaching programs to review material and present new material in small steps whilst providing models. 

Throughout the day our teachers also had the opportunity to network with other Year 5-8 teachers from the Sutherland Shire Network to collaborate, sharing their programs and classroom practices.
