Our Silky bantams, Marshmallow, Milo and Midnight, love their new foraging bed. It is being well watered by our dedicated students. The students are also doing a great job sitting calmly on the stumps inside the pen, building trust so the chickens feel confident enough to approach them. Now they will even eat food from their hands. Another great benefit is eating hard boiled eggs!
Students are enjoying strawberries and mulberries, which you probably find stained around their mouths and hands but hopefully not their clothes.
