From our Parents' Committee
Diwali – 15 November: Many people in our school community will celebrate Diwali this week. May this Diwali bring warmth, happiness and light to your family and friends. CJC’s own Diwali celebration will now be held on 15 December. We will sell Mango lassi’s, non-spicy samosas and Indian sweets to celebrate.
End of Year Party – Friday, 6 December
The PC Planning team met today to start the detailed planning of the end of year party. Details will be shared with the school community shortly. All CJC families, including new 2025 families are welcome to join in the fun.
Silent Auction: To run the silent auction this year, we urgently need some volunteers to run the “back office” uploading donations and some “front office” assistance contacting and communicating donors using template emails. If we do not find at least 2 volunteers by the end of next week, the auction sadly won’t proceed, despite several generous donation already pledged from our community. Last year the silent auction and bike raffle raised more than $5,000 for our school. This assistance can be done from your computer at home. Contact caulfieldjuniorpc@gmail.com if you can assist.
Silent Auction – Donations sought: Assuming that we can still run the auction, so you have an item that you could donate to the silent auction – it could be an item, voucher, service or experience. Please get in touch if you are able to assist at caulfieldjuniorpc@gmail.com
