Goodbye Class of 2024

On Friday 18 October we gathered in House Assemblies to celebrate and farewell our Year 12 students. What a joy it has been to share your journey and watch you mature into incredible young adults. We wish you the very best for your VCAA exams and may the future be bright for you all!

Finishing the year strong in Year 9-11

As we head into the final stretch of the school year, it’s a great time for students to finish strong and set themselves up for success. Whether you’re striving to boost your grades, preparing for exams, or balancing extra curricular activities, here are some simple tips on how to wrap up the year.

  • Set clear goals. Start by identifying specific goals for each subject. Breaking down what you want to achieve makes it easier to stay focused and motivated.
  • Organise your time. Use a calendar or planner to map out important dates and study times. Consistent review is key, so plan short, daily sessions to stay on track without feeling overwhelmed.
  • Stay engaged in class. Keep participating and asking questions. Engaging actively helps reinforce what you’re learning and clarifies anything that might seem confusing.
  • Prioritise health and rest. A well-rested brain performs better! Make time for good sleep, healthy meals, and short breaks to recharge.
  • Reach out for support. Don’t hesitate to ask teachers, classmates, or family members for help if you need it. Support can make a big difference.

With only five weeks left, now is the time to dig deep and keep up the hard work! A strong finish to the year will set you up for success in 2025 and will give you a well-deserved sense of accomplishment. Keep going - you've got this!
