Kildare Campus News
With the warmer weather now upon us, it’s important for all students to remember to wear their hats outside. The sun is particularly strong this time of year, and wearing a hat offers necessary protection during recess, lunch, and any outdoor activities.
For students riding bikes to and from school, please be extra cautious. Watch for other traffic, stay alert at all times, and follow road safety rules to ensure a safe journey.
We’re pleased to see the successful use of the Covered Outdoor Learning Area (COLA) during recess, lunch, and PE practical lessons. This space provides essential shade and a comfortable environment for outdoor learning and socialising. We encourage students to continue using this space to avoid sun exposure in uncovered areas.
Here are just a few reminders to help us finish the year strong:
Respecting Lockers
Please take care of lockers and keep them secure. Lockers are in shared banks and we ask that everyone treats each other with respect when using your locker.
Break Times
Students are reminded not to be inside learning buildings during breaks. These buildings are closed for cleaning and maintenance, so please enjoy your break times in designated outdoor areas or the COLA.
Drink Bottles
Please ensure they are filled before class as students are not permitted to leave during class.
Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us keep Kildare Campus a safe and enjoyable place for everyone.
Oval Update
Our MCG-sized AFL oval at Kildare Campus is starting to take shape!
Final trim for the sub-base should be completed by the end of the this week and the irrigation pump is also currently being installed in preparation for the sprinkler system and turf!
