End of Term 3 Celebration

We love to celebrate the end of the term with cooking the produce from our garden. 

Term Three marked the end of our winter produce and our beetroot and coriander went into dips.

Desert was citrus and thyme cake, with our lemons and oranges as well as some donated by our school families. We of course made citrus, egg and gluten free versions. 

Cauliflower and Carrot Soup

The soup was a big hit with students. I made 20 litres and many students came back for seconds and thirds!  We will definitely plant more cauliflower next winter.

Tomato Seedlings

Last summer students learned how to save tomato seeds. We planted the seeds and now have an abundance of seedlings; so much so that we might sell them at a later date. Keep an eye on the social media and WhatsApp for our market dates.
