Edison Robots, Years 5/6

Our Year 5/6 students have been having a fantastic time exploring the world of robotics with Edison robots! Through hands-on activities, they've been learning to program the robots to follow specific paths, which helps them understand angles, directions and coding in a fun, interactive way. They've even created their own musical tunes by programming Edison to play notes and sounds as well as. One student programmed Edison to play 'Baa Baa Black Sheep', whilst another coded ‘Do-Re-Mi,’ with the class joining in and singing along! Great problem-solving shown by our 5/6s as they build their coding and STEM skills.

Coding

Our junior and middle students have been enthusiastically developing their coding and problem-solving skills with Scratch! They've learned to create interactive animations where their  characters ‘speak’ and respond to each other. Through coding, students are building a strong foundation in sequencing, logic and creativity, while having a lot of fun.
