Handwriting

The Foundation Students have been working incredibly to master their handwriting skills this term. We used dotted thirds to write our letters in a orderly, neat line and the Victorian Pre Cursive letters. The students were excited to find see our special dirt, grass, sky whiteboard strips. These give the students flexibility when practising handwriting, and they think it very fun! We also work on different letter formation groups weekly using guided mnemonics to help us remember how to form them. This week is the clockwise letters (r, n,h, p, m, k, x, z).

Buddies

Buddies is one of the Foundation and Grade 6's favourite sessions! This time they had the chance to get outside in the beautiful sunny weather. They collected all sorts of leaves and flowers to soon turn into art. Working together the students created funny faces to add leaves and flowers for hair and other features. So many laughs when looking at the completed faces, everyone being very creative!

Judged by the Grade 6 and Foundation Teachers here were the top 3 Artworks from each class...
