SCHOOL OF POSSIBILITIES
Final days of Year 12
Last week saw our inaugural year 12 class celebrate the end of thirteen years of schooling. Students attended a Graduation Mass on Tuesday which was a lovely celebration for our students with many parents, grandparents and friends in attendance. The students started their final day with a breakfast that was prepared by staff with coffee orders from Milestone Cafe. The students then gathered in the Black Box where our College Captain and House Captains led reflections of each of the years at St Anne’s College from Year 7 through to Year 12 with stories, photos and videos shared. The students viewed a video that was organised by College Captain Chiara and the communications team where staff members gave a reflection and final words to our class of 2024. Students received a Year 12 Yearbook and spent time collecting signatures and well wishes from other students and staff. Students then left the college for the final time through a guard of honour of students from Foundation to Year 11 and staff.
You can find photos and videos from these celebrations on the Farewell Year 12 Students page of this newsletter

Year 12 Graduation

Plans are well under way and we ask that any one who has not purchased tickets do so prior to Wednesday next week when numbers will be finalised and additional tickets will be offered to families who would like to purchase them.
Year 10 Formal
During Terms 3 and 4, the Year 10 students learned formal dances and student-choice dances during the week in their leadership classes. The students have been supported in their learning by a number of Year 11 & 12 students. We thank all the students who volunteered their time to teach the dances to our Year 10 students - Leesa Shannon, Jesse Minicozzi, Alick Jarvis, Dion DeCicco, Trent Newbound, Bodhi Tremellen, Liliana Cirillo and Charlie Ratcliffe. These classes culminated in our Year 10 Formal last Friday night held at St Mel’s Hall. The theme was ‘Secret Garden’ and the hall was transformed into a beautiful garden setting with plants, lights, arches and backdrops. Thank you to our student committee and staff who worked for many weeks putting together ideas and gathering items.
It was wonderful to see our students dressed up and looking tremendous in their formal attire. It was a great night and it was lovely to see our student and parent dance which was enjoyed by all. Thank you to our parents and guardians for all the effort you have gone to in order to support your child and make it such a memorable night.
You can find photos capturing the occasion on the Year 10 Formal page of this newsletter.
Year 10 and Unit 2 VCE Exams: Monday November 18 - Friday November 22
Timetables have been released for Year 10 and Unit 2 VCE exams. Parents can view these on PAM and students have a copy both on SIMON and in their inbox. During the exam period, families are reminded that classes for Year 10 and 11 students are not running and students only need to attend for the times they have exams scheduled. For bus travellers or students who can not safely arrive and leave throughout the day, as study space will be set aside for you to use. It is the responsibility of families to ensure they are aware of the whereabouts of their students during the exam week. If students are not attending school to sit an exam or use the assigned study space, they must be at home preparing for their exams and not engaging in social activities or be employed. Students engaging in exams may attend school in casual dress. Year 11 VCE-VM students will attend school during this time, as per their regular timetable. VCE-VM students do not sit exams but regular classes continue. For some students, attendance will be essential during this time as this will be their last opportunity to complete all work modules and assessment tasks required for the successful completion of their Unit 2 VCE- VM studies. They are required to wear their school uniform.
2025 Booklist and Subject Confirmations
The subject counselling process has now been completed and we will release the 2025 Booklist and students final subject confirmations next week. This information will be emailed to student accounts and we encourage parents to ask your students to share this information with you when it arrives. The booklist will also be available via PAM. If students want to make any changes to their subjects, they will need to complete a subject change form. These forms will be available from the SOP School Leaders office and the Carers Team.

Year 12 Graduation Events
Parents/carers are invited to attend the Year 12 Graduation Dinner at the Woolshed Emerald Bank on November 22 from 6pm.
