Level 3

It has been an eventful Term 4 so far for Level 3. With the start of Diwali last week, we decided to welcome visitors to the Level 3 area with some beautiful Rangoli designs using chalk on the deck.

Swimming

The students had a fantastic time at swimming this year! They enjoyed themselves while also practising important skills in the pool. The teachers were impressed by their independence and responsibility, as they set an excellent example as the older students in the group. They truly were wonderful role models!

Reading and writing

Despite our busy week in the pool, we still accomplished a lot! In our Reading lessons, we have been analysing key elements of fiction texts, deepening our understanding of storytelling. In Writing, we collaborated in small groups to complete explanations of how gravity works, and have now begun researching our own independent topics for explanation writing. 

Maths

During our Maths sessions, we demonstrated our growth in different areas by completing some assessments. Now, as we begin our new topic on 'Time', we’re practising analysing and understanding calendars together.
