Change of Timetable

There have been several timetable changes during the past couple of weeks to balance up the missed days across the year. Thank you to students and staff for managing and working with these changes. There are no more timetable changes for this term. There is one scheduled next term prior to the College Ball.

Year 11 Work Experience (Optional) – during Country Week

As mentioned in an earlier edition of the Weekly Wrap an optional opportunity for Year 11 students is being provided for those interested to undertake a week of work experience during Week 10 of this term. This is the same week that Country Week is occurring.

Thank you to the students and parent/carers who submitted the form by the due date. This process is now closed and no further forms will be accepted.

For all students not involved in work experience or Country Week, a modified program/timetable will operate for the week.

End of Semester Reporting

Staff are currently working on completing the Semester 1 reports for students. These reports will provide parent/carers with an update to their child’s progress and achievement across all of their subjects undertaken in Semester 1. A Residential Report will also be provided for those students who board at the College. The reports will be made available to parents/carers during Week 10 of this term.

At the beginning of Term 3, Tuesday 22nd July, there will be an opportunity for Parent/ Teacher interviews. Specific details regarding this will be provided later in the term when the reports are made available.

Uniforms

With the onset of the cooler weather some students have taken to wearing a ‘hoodie’ as an under garment under their leavers, sports or trades jackets. This is not in keeping with the College’s uniform. If students are needing additional clothes to keep warm, they can wear their College green jumper under their leavers/sports jacket in Class. In Trades/Farm they have a combination of jumpers, jackets they can wear. In addition, students may need to invest in some thermal underwear, if they feel the cold.

Students were addressed at lunchtime on Wednesday this week and were made aware that if they are found wearing hoodies or non uniform items they will be asked to remove them and the item confiscated.

Thank you in advance for your support as we maintain the uniform and dress standard at the College.

Have a great weekend!
