Meet Information for Team Bus Trip to Ballarat Gold SC Meet
We hope your swimmers are looking forward to Sunday's team bus trip to the Ballarat Gold Short Course Meet! You have purchased a ticket for you and/or your swimmer to travel on a Panorama seat belted bus from Aquanation to Ballarat Aquatic & Lifestyle Centre and back again on Sunday, June 1st. Please see all the important details below:
Departure time: Meet at Aquanation at 6:30am sharp for a 6:45am departure. Please speak with your swimmer about appropriate behaviour while traveling on the bus, including wearing their seatbelt at all times, to ensure the safety of everyone. Please ensure your swimmer has a good breakfast as there is no eating on the bus. It would be a good idea for them to pack something quick and nutritious to eat as soon as they get off the bus, prior to warm up.
What to bring: Please ensure your swimmer has all of their gear, googles, bathers/racesuits, towels etc. They should bring healthy food and snacks to fuel them throughout the day as well as a water bottle to stay hydrated. Ensure they have plenty of towels and warm, dry clothing to change into. The bus will stop on the way home for a quick dinner so please ensure your swimmer has some money.
Medication: If your child requires any medication (ventolin, etc), please speak with a Team Manager when dropping them at the bus in the morning.

If possible, please ensure your swimmers come prepared with their race numbers and heat details, which can be found in the meet program. If they're unfamiliar with how to write those details on their arm, they can speak with a Team Manager or senior swimmer, who will be happy to help them.

Arrival back at Aquanation will be at approximately 6:30 - 7:00pm, which will include a stop for a quick dinner. Swimmers should bring money to purchase dinner.
