Principal Report
Mr. Lehane
Next week I will be away on Tuesday and Wednesday attending the Victorian Principals Conference in Melbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity for me to hear from renowned thought leaders in education, explore new ways of thinking about leadership excellence, and reflect and learn alongside other school leaders from across the state.
Over the two days, I’ll attend a range of workshops showcasing strong Department and school-led practices, all centred around the theme Excellence in Every Classroom. These sessions will provide valuable insights and strategies to support our ongoing work at Bridgewater Primary.
On Thursday and Friday, I will be on personal leave as I am having a knee arthroscope. I will be back on deck by the following week for our Curriculum Day.
Last week students participated in the Loddon/Calder District Athletics. Students represented our school extremely well and tried their best at each and every event. I was very proud of the way our students conducted themselves and participated in each event.
Thank you to our awesome parents who drove students on the day and stayed to cheer them on.
It is great to see students enjoying having our Well-Being Dog Poppy onsite.
Tuesday June 10th will be a Curriculum Day. Students are to remain home on this day while teachers will be onsite this day is designated to report writing.
This week in art students were busy creating their own unique Winter themed Beanies. The new Art Shed and furniture is absolutely amazing and every time we are in their I feel very fortunate to have such a great space to utilise.
This week I took the senior students for cooking. Students did an amazing job cooking a delicious Spaghetti Bolognaise which the whole school sat down and enjoyed the meal together in the staff room.
I look forward to doing some cooking with the Juniors next!
