English Language Centre and EAL Mainstream Relationship Building 

Over the past few weeks, members of the ELC and mainstream Year 10 EAL classes have enjoyed a range of bonding activities. Led by the ELC Captain, Grace, and Austin from an EAL mainstream class, students enjoyed a variety of games and activities to develop relationships and connect. 

English Language Centre Drama Engagement 

Students from the ELC have been involved in a variety of Drama activities during their time in the Centre. Led by Ms James, their teacher, students have been developing their face, voice and body expression, along with their confidence to preform in front of an audience. 

Recently, as shown in the accompanying photos, students presented ‘Freeze Frames’ from their studied text, ‘No Words’ by Maryam Master, where they illustrated sections from the novel and other class members guessed and discussed the scenes.
