Interschool Cross Country

On Friday the 16th of May 11 students travelled to St. Arnaud to compete in the Interschool Cross Country. Donald High School was well represented in the Junior age groups with six runners. This included Layla Griffiths who finished second overall in the Junior Girls competition, and Evie Donnellon and Ellie Burke. The Junior Boys were represented by Samuel Mortlock, who finished in the top 10 and qualified for Zone, Noah Michael and Max Reilly. Hugo Funcke also finished third in a very fast ran Intermediate Boys competition which also had Luca Rice and Jesse Lydom in it. Halle Rice qualified for the Intermediate Girls Zone Cross Country event. Curtis Rice completed our day’s events with his run in the Senior Boys competition. All Runners tried their hardest and represented the school well. A big thanks to Mrs Griffiths who came across and helped out on the day and also all the parents that dropped in and cheered out students along!
