Curriculum Day
A reminder to everyone that next Wednesday 18th June is a student free day. Teachers will be marking assessment and writing reports. These reports will be published on the last day of term, Friday 4th July.
Below is an outline of what information will be contained in our Semester 1 reports.
Semester 1 reports
Reporting against the Victorian Curriculum for all subject areas.
English Overview - A description of the curriculum taught and six statements of what the students have achieved.
Maths Overview - A description of the curriculum taught and six statements of what the students have achieved.
Inquiry Overview – A description of the curriculum taught.
Specialist Subjects – An overview of what the students have been taught in P.E, Art and STEAM, including a progression point, effort and behaviour rating.
Personal and Social Development – Work habits, effort and behaviour rating based on our ASPIRE values.
Personal Comment – Comments on the students work habits, personality, behaviour etc.
Attendance – A comment on the total number of days the student has been absent for the term.
Car parking
A reminder was sent on Compass a few weeks ago regarding school pick up and asking our families to please stop blocking roads/driveways. We are hearing that people are continuing to queue on Grant Road, with complaints still being received.
We kindly ask all families to please avoid spending excess time across any driveways, especially while waiting on Grant Road to enter the 'Kiss & Go' zone. It is important that residents are able to access and exit their properties without obstruction. It also causes a potentially dangerous traffic hazard on Grant Road.
To help ease congestion, we recommend the following:
