School Athletics Day

SCHOOL ATHLETICS DAY

Our School Athletics Day was held on Tuesday 24th March at Willinda Park in Greensborough. It was fantastic to see the colours on display for each House as the students competed in a range of activities.

                                         TOURS (Red)                   MERCY (Blue) 

                                         McAULEY (Green)        XAVIER (Yellow)

Thankfully, the weather cooperated for long enough to complete the activities for the Year 3-6s, who needed the scores in order to see who represented the school in this week's District Athletics Carnival. 

This year, XAVIER (Yellow) House won on the day!

The official scores were:

1st Xavier - 1,696 points        2nd McAuley - 1,610 points

3rd Mercy - 1,598 points       4th Tours - 1,513 points

A sincere thank you to the parents who assisted on the day with set up , at an activity station or with pack up. We are most grateful for your time and support!

Special thanks to Peter Koulaxizellis, our PE Teacher, for his organisation of the day, supported by Jamie Atherton, Gary (our Maintenance Officer) and the staff.

What a wonderful whole school event to end the term!
