Our Faith Journey
Welcome to our RE community — where faith is shared, lived, and celebrated together.
John 9: 1-41
Jesus heals the man born blind and reveals himself to him as the Son of Man.
What does this story teach us about who Jesus is and how He cares for people?
How can we help others who might need kindness or support, like the man in the story?

During Lent, we focus on prayer, fasting and almsgiving. Our students, together with Mini Vinnies, will support families in our local community through a Lenten Shoebox Appeal.
Students are invited to bring non-perishable food items such as pasta, rice, canned goods, cereal, long-life milk, tea or coffee. Please ensure all items are within the expiry date and in good condition.
All donations are due by Tuesday, 1 April. If you have any unused shoeboxes, these are also very welcome. Please hand items to your child’s class teacher.
One way in which we can show kindness and support others is through supporting this act of generosity during the Lenten season.

Some wondering questions form our Foundation students based on the week's Gospel.

Foundation

Grades 5-6 T/V

Students from Foundation and Grades 5-6 V/T had the opportunity to deepen their faith by unpacking the Sunday Gospel with our Assistant Parish Priest, Fr Deva. Through this time of reflection and discussion, students explored the message of the Gospel and how it speaks to them today.
This experience highlights the strong partnership between our school and parish, working together to nurture and support the faith life of our students. By connecting classroom learning with the life of the Church, we continue to guide students in growing as active members of our faith community.
We thank Fr. Deva, for taking the time to visit St Peter's school and share his wisdom, helping our students grow in their understanding of the Gospel and their faith.

Thank you to our parents and Reconciliation candidates for your participation in the second information session. Your support and engagement are greatly appreciated.
A reminder that the Sacrament of Reconciliation will take place on 27 March at 11:45am. Students will walk to the church with staff, so parents do not need to attend.
Please keep our children in your prayers as they continue their journey toward experiencing God’s mercy and the embrace of His forgiveness.
