“No Food Sharing” Practice during recess and lunch eating times

The health and wellbeing of our students is a paramount concern to us. Our commitment to the inclusiveness of all children and their safety is of utmost importance.

As we are now approaching the festive season and the end of this school year we would like to take this opportunity to remind students and our school community about severe allergies in order to limit potential dangers of exposure to life threatening food allergies and to reduce cross contamination between different foods for students and staff.

Kismet Park Primary has a “No Food Sharing” Practice during recess and lunch eating times. This practice will not infringe on the food that parents provide for their own child.

Please take the time to review the attached letter about our “No Food Sharing” practice and our efforts to minimise the risk of life-threatening allergic reactions across our school.

Please support us by sharing this important information with your child/children.

Kind Regards,

Davina Rowell

First Aid Coordinator
