From Principal Mackintosh

Dear Families,

My name is Flynn Mackintosh and I’m in Year 6 - however today, I was the principal for the day! This was a live auction item at the GPA's Soiree by the Sea - my parents were the highest bidders and I certainly made the most of the day.

On Tuesday I decided we should have a casual clothes day so posted a Dojo announcing this. My name was in lights on the notice board at the school gate which was pretty cool.

We started the day with myself, my brother and Deputy Principal, Darcy and our assistant Hudson handing out lolly snakes to everyone as they walked in the gate. 

Just before recess I came around and gave everyone Zooper Doopers! I was met with cheers and thank yous from everyone. It was so much fun!

I also decided that we should extend recess and lunch by 10 minutes so the staff had to do extra duties to help us out. 

I invited a few friends into my office for recess and decided to give the leftovers to the staff - they appreciated this!

Just before lunch I decided that the year 6 students should have exclusive access to the running track so, I made an announcement and let everyone know. 

All year 6s also got cupcakes which were delicious!

I also chatted to the students at assembly and we had Mr Mackintosh's news this week. 

Best of all, a few friends and I ordered Maccas for lunch - I guess that’s what you can do when you’re principal for the day!

What a great day!

I wonder who will be lucky enough to experience this next year!?
