End of Year Awards

Congratulations to All the students who received an Award

 St Patrick’s Award - This is given to a student in each class whose behaviour and values closely reflect the values that are important to our school and give witness to our motto, Nourish, Nurture, Grow in Christ. This student has shown a consistent effort and application throughout the year including the manner in which they demonstrate their faith, social interactions, looking after the environment, and/or attitude towards their learning.

Congratulations to:

Academic Award – This is given to a student in each class who has consistently shown excellence across a number of learning areas across the school year. The student does not necessarily have to be the top achieving student, but they will have shown consistent application, growth and have worked to their best of their ability throughout the year.

Year 6 Blessed Frederic Ozanam Award for Social Justice- 

 The Blessed Frederic Ozanam Award for Commitment to Social Justice is an initiative of the St Vincent de Paul Society in NSW. The award is overseen by the Family Educator. It aims to recognise Year 6 students who have demonstrated a significant contribution and commitment to  social justice and community service throughout their primary school years  The award is named after the founder of the St Vincent de Paul Society, Blessed Frederic Ozanam, who not only gave much of his time to serve the less fortunate, but was also very active in striving for social justice through advocacy and  education.

Nano Nagle Award

This is a Year 6 award that is representative of students who have shown resilience and perseverance. They are proactive in showing initiative. Like Nano Nagle, they are always willing to lend a helping hand around our school, often looking after others in our school community. They continue to try to be the best version of themselves.

Fr Laurie Cruikshank Award Nomination - 2023:   

This student is an enthusiastic and friendly student who always shows a positive attitude towards school.  They consistently demonstrate their faith through reverence and participation in school Masses. Striving to live out the Catholic values this student always demonstrates compassion and love towards others and never seeing a need without doing something about it.  They are an exceptional role model for their fellow peers leading by example and showing true leadership skills.  Their kindness towards others is seen through their positive relationships with their peers.   This student is a wonderful ambassador of our school and a deserved winner of the Father Laurie Cruikshank Award.

Federal Parliamentarian’s Distinguished Achievement

The student nominated for this award  is a valued member of our school  community  and is a constant role model to all students. This student is always willing to help out anyone in need and this is clear by the dedication demonstrated with the time given up during the Pope Francis Program and Mini Vinnies.  This student constantly has assisted both teachers, fellow students and the community in the area of service.

This student can always be seen with a smile on their face.  They have shown a tremendous amount of initiative helping both  peers and teachers.

This student has represented St Patrick’s at various inter-school initiatives both academic and sporting. 

This student is a conscientious student who applies herself without exception to all areas of her schooling. She strives for academic excellence, always working towards the best of her abilities.

This student  is humble and assertive.  In her time at our school she has represented the school with great pride and shown the wider community how wonderful the students at St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School are.  We are very proud of this student and the contributions she has made to our school over her time here.

This award is given to students who show consistent commitment to their learning across all areas.  

Their perseverance , resilience and intrinsic motivation to do well  is to be highly commended. 

Both these students have been co-operative both in the classroom and on the playground. They follow our school values and lead by example.

Sports Awards 

This is given to a student in each class who models fairness, cooperation and teamwork, interacting respectfully with others in a variety of sporting games and activities. This student does not necessarily have to be the top performing athlete but always a good sport.

This is given to a student in each class who has excelled in an area of the Arts (Visual Arts, Dance, Drama, Music) and is nominated by Mrs Ng, Mr Sedlak and Miss Jessi.
