We are so blessed to have a beautiful Advent Christmas Crib and Advent Wreath in Holy Family Church coming on 1st December.
We are inviting you to join with your child before school to pray one decade of the rosary (10 mins) over the two Advent Tuesdays until the end of Term. The season of Advent helps us prepare for Christmas.
The family prayers can be offered for your special intentions.
The Year 2, Year 4 and Year 5 Class Mass has been cancelled due to a clash with the Amadeus Concert. These classes will join the Year 6 Pope Francis students at Mass the following week, 1st December. All parents, carers and families are welcome. As there are so many classes attending the students will not be attending the morning tea after the Mass however the parents and carers are welcome to stay for coffee and tea in the hall.
The month of November is the month the Church traditionally remembers our loved ones who have died.
I recently attended a SCS Grief Care Professional Development.
Below there is a list of age appropriate books that are recommended for students who have experienced the loss of a family member or pet. They will help navigate through this difficult time. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with me if you need further information.
