Science

Our plant growing experiment has been delivering some surprising results. We have tested watering with different liquids, planting in different soils (Or no soil at all) and changing the amount of sun our plants get. We had some big bean plants growing in certain conditions and no growth in others. We will continue to record our observations at the start of classes.

Our Science experiment this week is understanding how non Newtonian fluids can behave as two states of matter. We will be creating and having the opportunity to stand in Oobleck. If your child wants to participate in this portion of the lesson they will need to bring 2 plastic bags to cover their shoes. It will be messy fun!

Auslan

Throughout the final weeks of school, students from every year level will be taught various Auslan signs relating to the Christmas season. They will sing and sign many well-known Christmas songs, as well as participate in numerous games and Christmas activities that will help to consolidate their learning of these festive signs.
