Welcome

In this final edition of MY FUTURE Careers News for 2023, I wish to celebrate our Year 10 Employment Pathways and our Vocational Major students who attended Work Experience during the recent Exam period. These students will move into and continue in the VCE Vocational Major in 2024 and are required to select a vocational course of interest to them. Our students worked in Childcare, Education Support, Cafes, a working farm and the Kyabram Zoo! The students had a fantastic experience, and it solidified their choice of VET course in 2024. Below are a few photos from the week.
As the Year 12 ATAR release day is less than a week away, there is an article in this edition with Quick ATAR facts and advice. All universities will hold Change Of Preference (COP) events next week, and these are detailed in this newsletter. VTAC is also holding free Webinars for Year 12 students this week outlining options moving forward. All Year 12 students will have received an email last week detailing arrangements for ATAR release day on Monday, 11 December. Please check your personal emails.
I hope that you have enjoyed reading our Career News throughout 2023. Wishing everyone a safe and happy Christmas and holiday break.
