This year, the Wellbeing team is committed to improving student belonging, connectedness and ability to regulate their emotions when things might not be going great. Whilst it is still early in the year, there a lot of programs and events that we have planned for 2024.
- Year 7 will all be participating in Rock and Water at some stage through the year, working on improving their ability to regulate emotions and connect with peers.
- Mr Berrell and Pete will be running Camden Tradies again for Year 8 students who are interested in getting their hands dirty whilst discussing key wellbeing topics.
- Year 11 will get the opportunity to engage in the ‘Love Bites’ program, building skills to have respectful relationships.
- Kristina has engaged Uniting and Big Yellow Umbrella to come in to run programs for both Stage 4 and 5 on building resilience and the skills to connect.
- Year Advisors are in the works to organise and run some exciting reward days for their students.
- Plus lots more as we head through the year!!
Stay tuned on how these programs are running and for some top tips on keeping well.
