Principal's Report

It is interesting when talking to community members, and they make the comment that school must be winding down now. In fact, schools generally wind up towards the end of the year as we prepare for 2024, complete assessments, write reports, and run our transition and special end-of-the-year programs. Our Year 12 Headstart program has been up and running in the last two weeks, and attendance has been excellent. Teachers have reported that students are all primed and ready for their 2024 studies. Next week, we commence our Headstart for our 2024 Year 11 students, which I am sure will be approached in a similar vein.

Our Inclusive Education classes have been taking advantage of the Nexus Health Inclusive Sports and last Friday I attended the inclusive sector's assembly to congratulate the 2024 Captains Indiana, Dean, Jacinta and Oisin. This afternoon, I made the trip down to the pool and snapped some shots of our year 3 & 4 students enjoying the swimming program.

I hope we all enjoy some lovely weather over the weekend and it might be time to start that Christmas shopping.

Regards
