Merry Christmas and Happy holidays everyone!

The Prep team are so proud of the incredible growth we have seen in our 2023 prep cohort. There have been so many highlights throughout our year together, and many memories we will hold forever. 

Throughout Term 4, the students have been exploring many different cultural celebrations as part of our Integrated topic ‘Connections’. The Prep students have felt a great sense of pride teaching their peers about holidays they celebrate at home, and have taken a keen interest in how people celebrate their cultures all around the world. The celebrations that we have explored within our classroom include Diwali, Ramadan, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Chinese New Year and Christmas. 

In Writing, the students have had a blast revisiting Information Reports. This was a highlight for the Prep teachers as they could see the immense growth in the students abilities since their first Information Report in Term 1. 

Term 4 has also brought us many fun events including the whole school Dance Production, Oatlands Art Show and the Colour Run. Prep students will also have the opportunity to visit the kitchen this term, and enjoy our Prep Picnic in the final week of school. 

The Prep team would like to thank all of the families and special friends for supporting us throughout 2023. We have absolutely loved getting to know your little ones and we know they will achieve great things in Grade 1 and beyond!
