Term 4 General Meeting and AGM

The final General Meeting for the year, and the AGM, was held on Tuesday, 14th November, in Coorah.

During the meeting, the outgoing Chair, Mr Michael Magill, and the Principal, Mr Steven Coote, thanked the 2023 Committee members for their excellent contributions to the life of the School and their service to the school, through so many community and fundraising events held throughout the 2023 school year:

• Mr Michael Magill and Mrs Magdalena Herceg (Co Chairs)
• Mrs Courtney Pascoe (Secretary)
• Ms Suzanne Janine (Treasurer)
• Mr Mark Rodgers and Mrs Sarah Rodgers (JSS Representatives)
• Ms Jane Miskovic-Wheatley (JSW Representative)
• Mrs Catharine Tierney and Mr Christo Aitken (Committee members)

All  positions on the Executive Committee were vacated at the AGM, and an election held to determine the new Executive Committee for 2024.

At the AGM, the following parents were appointed to  the Executive Committee as follows:

• Chair:  Mr Mark Rodgers
• Treasurer:  Mrs Suzanne Janine
• Campus Representatives (Senior School):  Mrs Laura Silva and Mrs Natalie Morel
• Campus Representative (Junior School Wentworth Falls):  Dr Jane Miskovic-Wheatley
• Campus Representatives (Junior School Springwood):  Mrs Sarah Rodgers and Mr Mark Rodgers
• Committee Members:  Mr Christo Aitken, Mrs Karen Louis, Mrs Catherine Tierney, Mrs Gemma Lynch, Mrs Anneke Rowe Courtemanche, Mrs Shaba Tarafdar and Mrs Rachel Van Zwieten 

As there were no nominations received for the position of Secretary of the Executive Committee, this role is yet to be filled.  If you are interested in joining the Parents' & Friends' Association Executive Committee, please email Mr Rodgers via wentfallspf@gmail.com with your expression of interest.

We congratulate those elected to the 2024 BMGS Parents' and Friends' Association Executive Committee and look forward to the activities to come in 2024.
