Secondary Arts Night

Last week we hosted the Secondary Arts Night, and we had a brilliant turn-out to view our students' amazing work from our Arts and Design team. It was a delight to see the students’ artworks and design products and to enjoy the amazing musical talents of so many students. Well done to all our Secondary students who took part in the evening, whether that be the visual or performing arts.

We want to recognise the staff members that supported the running of the event; Mr Nguyen, Mrs Adams-Bell, Mrs Vanderplas and Mr Sainsbury.

Year 9/10 Exams (Repeat)

Secondary examinations are held this term for students in Years 9-10.  This year, exams will be held Mon-Thurs of Week 6 (20-23 November). The key focus of the examinations is practise in the process of sitting an exam. Students are, therefore, given information to support their exam preparation and study for a limited number of subjects.

Exams can support a student’s final result and even give them a boost to a higher award.  They are not the final determinant of a student’s result and are not designed in this way. In instances where students require additional support or an alternative space, this is provided in consultation with the Learning Enhancement team.

Students have received a digital copy of the exam specifications and timetable. Parents/carers are encouraged to view the attached exam specifications and timetable and check-in with their child to confirm that they have received this information.
