Year 6 Camp News

Hello everybody,

Our job is never done as we sit here at camp we thought we would bring you some news about our time here so far:

This week the school captains and all of the year sixes went to The Ranch in Mornington Peninsula. We experienced some activities that we had not done before. To get to The Ranch it took us approximately 2 hours. We started our experience by taking some time to eat lunch and settle into our cabins. 

The activities we participated in were a giant swing, initiative games(team building), camp scrambles (scavenger hunt), rock climbing, archery, horseback riding, and last but definitely not least the flying fox. 

Jesse’s favourite activity was the giant swing because you got flung through the air and it kind of felt like a theme park ride. Matilda’s was also the giant swing because it gave her the opportunity to step out of her comfort zone. Sophia’s favourite was the flying fox because it had a nice view and she got to go with her friend. 

We would like to thank Ms Pozzebon, Mr Nolan, Mr Wright, Miss Mikhael, Nurse Claudia, Mr Pietryk, Miss Elia and Miss Martin for joining us on camp.

Last week's winners were: 1B, 2A and 2B all with 45 points and 6A and 6B with 38 points.

This week's winners are: 3A with 44 points and 5A with 46 points.

Great work everyone - lets all try our hardest over the next couple of weeks to get high points.
