From the Principal's Desk

Dear Parents,
The term has started very positively and the celebration and acknowledgment of our Foundation students ‘100 Days of School’ was a special way to join as a community to congratulate them. We are very proud of the amazing growth and development during this time.
Congratulations and well done to Miss Leah and her superstar Foundation students.
Leo, Harry, Zac, Louie, Heidi, Oscar, Matthew, Frankie, Harriet, Daria, Wolfe, Max, Joseph, Anthony, Rupert, Ollie, Olivia, Sana, Zavier and Madi.
Walkathon 8th August
A reminder that all permission forms must be returned by this Friday 1st August to ensure all students can participate in this fun and very successful fundraising event. All students are expected to participate. Volunteers are still required to help on the day so please consider helping and refer to the sign up form on the BPC page. We encourage all students to get as many sponsors as they can as every dollar raised will contribute to the rejuvenation and improvement of the turf areas around the adventure playground to enable them to be more useable and engaging.
The themes for each level are :
Year Level | Theme |
Foundation L | Silly socks |
1/2 | Superheroes |
3/4 | One-colour outfit |
5/6 | Sports teams |
Student Absence
Attendance and punctuality at school is very important to learning success. Even being 5 minutes late every morning affects student achievement. We encourage families to ensure students are at school by 8:50am to allow them time to prepare themselves for the star of the day as learning begins at 9:00am. We also encourage families to take holidays during the holidays and maximise the time students are at school. If time away during the term is unavoidable please inform the school in writing including the dates of the holiday.
