Nick Hamer-Smith (Principal) has been appointed principal of Birranga College. He has been teaching in government schools for 24 years. He has been involved in several leadership roles, most recently as co-principal of Glen Eira College. Nick is passionate about working with the school community to support students to reach their potential.
Michael Jaremczuk (Assistant Principal) has worked in local government schools for nearly 30 years having held a number of leadership portfolios over this time. He is passionate about developing the capacity of others regardless of their role within the school and seeing others achieve.
Kate Pizzey (Assistant Principal) has worked in a number of leadership roles across governments schools, including teaching in the youth justice system. Kate is passionate about supporting the whole child throughout their educational journey, helping them to be successful in their future pathway.
Dilanthi Adhikarige (Business Manager) has a strong background in accounting and experience in school finance and administration. She has also successfully run her own business. Dilanthi is committed to supporting the daily operations and long-term success of Birranga College, helping the school community thrive
